We are looking for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve as our office’s front desk receptionist at the Great Barrington office. In this position, you will greet guests entering the office and help direct them to where they need to go. In addition, you’ll be responsible for answering the phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments as well as performing light secretarial duties. Tuesdays and Fridays 8:30-5:30. This is an ideal job for someone with good skills and experience who would like to work part-time.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients.
- Keeping the reception, office & public area clean and tidy.
- Answering phone calls.
- Handle Filing, Faxing and Scanning.
- Processing payments, we do not submit to insurance companies.
- Scheduling appointments.
- Notifying doctors of patient arrivals.
- Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctors, staff, and patient information.
- Electronic Medical Records Transfer.
- Communicate with other professional offices.
- Provide administrative support to the doctors.

- Organizational skills: Candidate must be well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Phone handling skills: A solid phone handling etiquette is required to respectfully engage with patients; and to handle a multi-line telephone system promptly and efficiently.
- Customer service skills: The ability to provide customer service support in a prompt, friendly, and timely manner.
- Computer proficiency: Candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office tools and Google Suite and possess strong keyboarding skills.
- Technical skills: Candidate should require basic skills for operating and maintaining office machinery.
- Professionalism: Candidate must be enthusiastic, respectful, and friendly; with a professional and welcoming presentation, and most importantly, possess a positive attitude.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- At least two years of experience in customer service and office work.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma generally required.
